Alan Measles Heraldic Dog Keyring

Designed to accompany the exhibition Grayson Perry: Delusions of Grandeur, this vibrant enamel keyring features the ubiquitous Alan Measles in one of his many guises.

In acknowledgement of Shirley Smith’s (Sir Grayson Perry’s fictional artist alter-ego for the show) imagined status as heir to the Wallace Collection, this heraldic dog sits atop the frame of the artworks, Totally Unique Thing, 2024 and serves as reminder of the pervading theme of self-identity.
