The outstanding collection of European bronze sculptures amassed by Peter Marino focuses particularly on French and Italian bronzes of the High Baroque and includes masterpieces by some of the greatest sculptures of their age. Such sculptures include the likes of Ferdinand Tacca, Giovanni Battista Foggini, Robert Le Lorrain and Corneille van Clève. This catalogue published in conjunction with a past exhibition, the Marino Collection at the Wallace Collection, consists of eight published essays by distinguised scholars of sculpture.
