'The Great Beauty' Portrait Mug

Designed to accompany the exhibition Grayson Perry: Delusions of Grandeur, this mug is inspired by the artwork The Great Beauty, 2024. The original piece is a cabinet heavily decorated with ceramic female portraiture, created in celebration of friendship and in response to the abundant furniture and miniatures housed in the Wallace Collection. The decoration on the mug highlights four of these beautifully detailed portraits in monochrome.
