Artists Aid Russia Magnet

This magnet has been produced to celebrate our free display, the Wallace Collection at War, exploring the Artists Aid Russia exhibition hosted in Hertford House in 1942, after the collection had been evacuated for its safety. It features the lithograph poster for the exhibition, designed by FHK Henrion.

The display draws on newly revisited archives, surviving catalogues and artworks actually shown in 1942 to illuminate how the Wallace Collection contributed to Britain's wartime cultural front.
