Selecting iconography from a decoratively carved fifteenth century European saddle from the Arms and Armouries collection; Melody Rose has reimagined its romantic theme and poetic verse across four beautiful collectable bone china plates.In the original carving two sweethearts have been separated by war and the woman is shown gathering mushrooms, possibly for a love potion or healing brew.
